  Description
ALJ Logan's letter stating that on December 29, 2000, PGE filed a petition with the Commission requesting that the effective date of the Code of Conduct rules in the final order be changed from January 1, 2001 to June 1, 2001. On January 2, 2001, PGE submitted a letter clarifying its request. PGE continued to ask the Commission to change the effective date of the Code of Conduct rules from January 1, 2001 to June 1, 2001. However, in the event that a final order had already issued, PGE asked for the petition to be read as a request under OAR 860-014-0093 for additional time to comply with the new rules. PGE served copies of the petition and the clarifying letter on the members of the AR 390 service list. There is no reason for us to again serve the members of the service list. Participants are given until 5:00 pm on January 17, 2000 to respond to the petition. Please respond, if you choose, solely to PGE's request for an extension of time in which to comply with the Code of Conduct rules (OAR 860-038-0500 through OAR 860-038-0640, including applicable definitions). It is not necessary to address the issue of changing the effective date of the Code of Conduct rules as initially proposed by PGE. Copies served via fax and mail on 1/3/01.
