ORDER |
DISPOSITION: SETTLEMENT APPROVED; DOCKET CLOSED
On May 24, 1999, Universal Telecommunications, Inc. (Universal) filed its interconnection agreement with U S WEST Communications, Inc. (USWC) with a disputed issue for resolution by the Commission.
After a prehearing conference on August 12, 1999, the parties resolved their differences and on August 17, 1999, submitted a letter signed by both parties stating that they have reached accord and that they will refile their agreement with the Commission. The parties request that the Commission accept their settlement in the matter and close this docket.
We have reviewed the parties’ settlement and find it reasonable. We conclude that the settlement should be approved and the docket closed.
ORDER
IT IS ORDERED that the settlement between Universal and USWC is approved as resolving the outstanding issue between the parties, and this docket is closed.

A request for rehearing or reconsideration must be filed with the Commission within 60 days of the date of service of this order. The request must comply with the requirements in OAR 860-014-0095. A copy of any such request must also be served on each party to the proceeding as provided by OAR 860-013-0070(2). A party may appeal this order to a court pursuant to applicable law.
