ORDER |
DISPOSITION: DOCKET CLOSED
On February 4, 1999, U S WEST Communications, Inc., (U S WEST) notified the Commission that it was withdrawing its Advice No. 1726. U S WEST decided to withdraw the advice, which set forth tariff provisions for physical collocation, due to the recent ruling by the United States Supreme Court regarding the Telecommunications Act of 1996. U S WEST states that it expects to file a revised tariff as soon as circumstances permit.
Previously, at its September 15, 1998 Public Meeting, the Commission had suspended Advice No. 1726 and established this docket, UT 146, to investigate the propriety and reasonableness of the filing. In light of the fact that U S WEST has withdrawn the tariff, there is no longer any reason to keep this docket open. Accordingly, docket number UT 146 should be closed.
ORDER
IT IS ORDERED that docket UT 146 is closed.
