ORDER

 

DISPOSITION: FILING ALLOWED WITH CONDITIONS

On April 2, 1998, Idaho Power Company (Idaho Power) filed an application for an order implementing a surcharge for the accelerated recovery of Demand Side Management/Conservation (DSM) expenditures and discontinuing an Excess Power Supply Cost surcharge.

Based on a review of the application and the Commission’s records, the Commission finds that the application satisfies applicable statutes and administrative rules. At its public meeting on October 20, 1998, the Commission adopted the Staff’s recommendation to allow the Tariff Sheets listed in Attachment A to Staff’s recommendation to go into effect on November 1, 1998. Staff’s recommendation is attached as Appendix A and is incorporated by reference. 

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that the application of Idaho Power Company for authority to increase its rates and charges to recover demand side management/conservation expenditures on an accelerated basis is granted, subject to conditions stated in Appendix A.
