ORDER

DISPOSITION: DATE FOR ACCEPTING ORDERS EXTENDED

On July 7, 1998, the Commission issued Order No. 98-268, approving a memorandum of understanding between Staff and U S WEST Communications, Inc., (USWC) regarding USWC's Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) service. The order required that the earliest that USWC could accept orders for MegaSubscriber service is August 19, 1998. Because our public meeting date has changed to August 19, 1998, we order that the earliest date for accepting orders shall be extended to August 20, 1998, to allow us time to review USWC's implementation of the memorandum of understanding.
