ORDER

DISPOSITION: APPLICATION DISMISSED

On September 5, 1997, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) filed an application requesting approval of the transfer of certain PGE assets to FirstPoint Utility Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of PGE, and approval of a service contract under which FirstPoint would provide certain services to PGE after the assets were transferred.

On February 25, 1998, PGE filed a withdrawal of the application.

The Commission concludes that there is no reason to pursue this matter further.

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that the application by Portland General Electric Company is dismissed and the docket closed.
