DISPOSITION: DOCKET CLOSED
A prehearing conference was held in this matter on August 7, 1997, in Salem, Oregon. Appearances were entered on behalf of Staff, Portland General Electric, PacifiCorp, Idaho Power Company, Northwest Industrial Gas Users, Northwest Natural Gas, Northwest Conservation Act Coalition, Citizens Utility Board, and Washington Water Power.
The participants reached a consensus that no substantial need exists for changes in the generic requirements for least cost planning as expressed in Order No. 89-507 or other Commission orders. The parties further agreed that the issues relating to least cost planning that may confront utilities, regulators, and other interested persons may effectively be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. The parties agreed unanimously that the docket should therefore be closed.
The Commission concludes that no need exists for this docket.
