DISPOSITION: COMPLIANCE ORDERED
At the July 16, 1996, Commission public meeting, Staff presented the attached report, dated July 8, 1996. The report summarizes Staffs 1994 and 1996 findings with respect to trees interfering with Lane Electric Cooperative Inc.s (Lane Electric) high voltage electric lines and Lane Electrics failure to meet the Staff imposed deadline of July 5, 1996, for dealing with its tree problems. The report recommends that the Commission order Lane Electric to correct, on or before March 31, 1997, the violations cited in PUC Staff Review Report E94-15. Staffs report also includes a time schedule for compliance, four specific requirements imposed on Lane Electric, and recommended action should compliance not occur. The Commission voted to adopt Staffs recommendation with respect to Lane Electric. Staffs July 8, 1996 report appears as Appendix A to this order and is incorporated herein by reference.
ORDER
IT IS ORDERED that Lane Electric Cooperative, Inc., shall comply with all the terms and conditions set forth in Appendix A.

A request for rehearing or reconsideration must be filed with the Commission within 60 days of the date of this order. The request must comply with the requirements of OAR 860-014-0095. A copy of any such request must also be served on each party to the proceeding as provided by OAR 860-013-0070(2)(a).
A party may appeal this order to a court pursuant to ORS 756.580.
