ORDER

 

DISPOSITION: INVESTIGATION OPENED

 

At the October 17, 1995, public meeting of the Public Utility Commission of Oregon, PUC staff requested that the Commission open an investigation into toll restriction service, billed number screening, and associated billing and collection practices of local exchange carriers.

 

The Commission adopted staff’s recommendations and directed staff to open an investigation of the following matters:

 

Toll restriction and billed number screening;

Billing and collection issues related to toll restriction and billed number screening;

Issues related to 1 and 2.

 

ORDER

 

IT IS ORDERED that an investigation as described above be undertaken by the staff of the Public Utility Commission of Oregon.
