Despite this withdrawal, PGE increased executive compensation by over 100 percent. To do this they utilized the increase for updating their facilities and power grid for this. This increase of 5.5 percent is much more than the utilities customers can afford. If PGE needs this increase, they can reduce the exorbitant increase in executive compensation to increase their necessary expenses.
